Most Asked Questions
Quick replies to the most common questions about the Non-Technical Challenge submission.
Who can apply to the Non-Technical Challenge?
All IEEE Student Branches (SBs) in Tunisia Section can participate. Active SIGHT Groups and groups under petition are eligible, and SBs without an active SIGHT Group are still encouraged to join.
What is the submission deadline?
Submissions must be sent through the official form before April 16, 2026 at 23:59 (GMT+1). Late submissions are not accepted.
What file format is required for the report?
For the Impact Report, submit one PDF file only with a maximum of 15 pages, following the specification book requirements.
Do we need an active SIGHT Group?
No. SBs without an active SIGHT Group can still participate. However, finalist nominations are for SIGHT Groups (active or under petition), while SBs without SIGHT can still be recognized through the "Innovate for Humanity" award.
Can we update our submission after sending it?
The specification book only states that entries must be submitted via the official form before the deadline and that late submissions are rejected. To avoid issues, make sure your final and complete version is submitted before the deadline.
Where should we start before filling the form?
Start by reading the full specification book, then prepare all required deliverables: Impact Report (PDF, max 15 pages), Video Presentation (max 1 minute), and Impact Poster (A3 or slightly larger). After that, submit everything through the official form before the deadline.
